Diving Deep

I couldn’t help it. Even though the client said they wanted something simple… I knew I had to take a big swing at giving them something more. Their character designs just called out to swim and scurry around the scene!

I’ll admit, this tactic is a gamble: If a client says “No, thank you,” you run the risk not only of having to do the work over from scratch, but also having wasted time on designs and animation that won’t ever see the light of day.

But if they do like it, you show them you’re invested in their project and inspire them to be excited about the work you produce. Thank goodness this gamble paid off!
