Fun, Cubed!

I like just about every aspect of most projects I work on.

But sometimes there’s an element that makes me want to go the extra mile. And when I saw Buidlbox’s array of 3D transparent cube elements, I knew they had to come to life as part of this video!

It was a challenge to figure out how to create these rotating cubes within After Effects’s 2.5D space. I won’t tell you that I didn’t stay up a few nights experimenting, running into failure after failure before finally figuring out how to get it to look like I wanted to. But with enough persistence, they were done, and I am thrilled about how they look!

The two rotating cubes only show up briefly in the video, but I believe their presence makes everything shine that much brighter. I do like a challenge!
